Who We Are

Founded in 2010 by a dedicated group of immigrant fathers, SAYEC was born out of a shared vision to create better opportunities for children in underserved communities. These founders recognized the lack of recreational and developmental programs available to local youth and sought to address this gap. What began as a small initiative offering soccer programs has since evolved into a thriving organization deeply rooted in the community and responsive to its needs.

From its humble beginnings, SAYEC has grown to become a cornerstone of youth development, offering a diverse range of programs that go far beyond sports. In addition to our popular soccer initiatives, we now provide academic tutoring, cultural enrichment activities, and leadership development workshops. These programs are carefully designed to foster holistic growth, helping children succeed not just in school, but also in their personal lives and future endeavors.

SAYEC’s growth and impact would not have been possible without the support and collaboration of our incredible partners. Organizations like Fairview, the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association, and Saint Paul Public Schools have been instrumental in helping us expand our reach and resources. Together, we are creating a positive and lasting difference in the lives of the children and families we serve.
